EMWPA is planning the next live program for Saturday, May 18th from  9am - 12pm

Joe Stehling, EMWPA Member at Large, and expert Firewise Communities creator, will be presenting his Firewise Communities program live. Joe was instrumental in the Hidden Lake area of Colfax County becoming a Firewise Community. This process is complex, lengthy and helps bring together a neighborhood in its efforts to become a wildfire prepared neighborhood. 

Objectives - Define a Firewise community, Explain what makes a Community Firewise, How to Develop a Fires Community, Explain Community Wildlife Risk Assessment Process
