FROM THE AMENITIES COMMITTEE
To all parties interested in the opening of the swimming pool:
This is to inform you and to make clear the status of the swimming pool as of Friday, April 26, 2024.
Bernalillo County has issued the Pool Permit #: EHP-20110001 for the 2024 season. Additionally, the County Inspection was conducted Thursday, April 25th, and the pool passed the inspection.
That does not mean, however, that we are ready to open the pool or make any such announcements. Notwithstanding the fact that the pool passed inspection, it was a race to be ready for the inspection and there are other pre-opening actions that must be completed.
The Committee believes that it will be able to complete those remaining steps in order to be on track for an official opening on Saturday, May 4th, but we ask everyone’s indulgence to allow the Committee, the contractors and volunteers who work on the pool the time that we believe is necessary to be fully ready for the season.
